January has ended and Feb will begin tomorrow. Time continues to tick by.

Did you made new year resolutions? I didn't make any but instead decided to do better in life. I didn't want to resolve to do better but actually do it. It made sense to me. I decided that I would make exercise a part of my everyday life style and I would continue in my commitment to my education. So far so good. A couple of my girlfriends and myself get together a few times a week to Zumba! That word is so much fun to say and just about as much fun to actually work out to. School is proving to be a bit more difficult but I WILL succeed. I've enrolled into an 8 week Geology class that is fast paced (right up my alley) but difficult..I told myself that I wanted to pass but after being in the class for 2 weeks..I want to do better than just "pass" - I want to get a high grade!

Well, I got on my computer to do some home work and instead I've been on

Alas I simply must go to bed...so I can pin until I succumb to the dreams. Good night all..

this morning was Christmas..and I awoke to smells of breakfast being prepared. Since being on the Medifast program, I'm not able to eat most of what my mom prepares..however the 70 lb loss is well worth it. I know that in the future..I can choose to enjoy some of the foods that I have missed but in moderation.
Anyway..the my parents were having a conversation about how much fun Christmas would be with Grandkids..of course in God's timing.
So..Lord..? Can you fast track me on whatever it is I need to learn before I meet the man I'm supposed to marry (if I don't know him already?)...I'd like to have kids before my parents are too old to love and spoil them..

Thank you Lord for an amazing year. I've learned a lot...what with my breakup, losing a friend, gaining a new friend, discovering the true meaning of family and unconditional love..no regrets. =)

weddings..

I wasn't really following the royal wedding and didn't even realize that Friday was THE DAY until Thursday. Maybe b/c I do not follow much news?

I remember my mom commenting several years back that she felt like she knew Princess Di..
They married the same year, had their first born (Prince William and myself), and then when the car accident killed Princess Di, my mom cried. I'll never forget that night.

Watching Prince William (& Harry) drive to Westminster Abbey, I understood what my mom meant. Prince William is a familiar face to me..and while he and I won't have the same "connection" that my mom and Princess Di had (I'm not married nor do I expect to be this year..), I understood and felt joy for him getting to marry his love.

So in light of marriage of Prince William and Kate ...

I'll be thinking about my future and it never fails..I find myself on etsy..dreaming about decor ideas, clothing & some day must-haves.. or I'll find myself blog surfing for recipe and dessert ideas.

I think I'm nesting.. two of my cousins just had babies, I've made some changes for my future..and I'm looking forward to what God has in store for me. I'm ready to make some life changes. As my girlfriend told me on Saturday. 2011 is my year. I'm going to get my stuff (she used another word - ha!) together and focus on me and God this year.

God will never, never, never let us down if we have faith and put our trust in Him. He will always look after us. So we must cleave to Jesus. Our whole life must simply be woven into Jesus.

I'm a huge fan of little details..

Some may say "it's in the details" or others may say "it's just details.."  

I personally feel that "it's all in the details". Life is a mosaic made up of little moments. Like mosaics, details can be beautiful but they can also be a mess of abstract funk if there is no plan in place. It really all depends on how you look at it.
